OSU Renaissance Festival Performance

Dances are on 1st, 3rd and 5th Sundays October thru June
3rd Sunday during July, and August.
3rd and 5th Sundays in September.

Dance location is Clinton Heights Lutheran Church, at the corner of N. High St. and Clinton Heights Avenue, one block south of East North Broadway. There is a parking lot right by the church. We begin dancing at 7:30 pm, and dance till 9:30 pm. After dancing, we have tea and a light snack. This space has a nice wooden floor, and a parking lot immediately outside the entrance. see the Map

$2.00, First time free
Beginners are welcome.
No partner or costume required.
All dances are taught

Jacqueline Schwab will be leading the dancing, as well as playing piano. Earl Gaddis, Mary Lea, and Daniel Beerbohm will also be playing. This is a chance to dance with folks from throughout the region - and you only have to travel to Worthington OH! More information will be forthcoming.

March 21-23, 2014 Playford Ball Weekend in Nashville TN - Bruce Hamilton will be leading to music by Karen Axelrod, Eden MacAdam-Somer and Susan Kevra.

March 28-29, 2014 English Country Ball in Ann Arbor MI: Gene Murrow will be leading, and Susie Lorand, Susan Lazar, and Cynthia Shaw will be playing the music

April 4-6, 2014 "Pitt's Maggot," contra & English country dance weekend in Pittsburgh PA: Allison Thompson and Gaye Fifer will be leading, with music by the Flying Romanos.

May 9-10, 2014 Mountain Blossom Ball in Berea KY: Jacqueline Schwab will be leading, and Atossa Kramer, Al White and Bill Lowder will be playing music

July 13-20, 2014 New London Assembly in New London CT (a bit out of the region, but a special event) - Brad Foster and Andrew Shaw will teach, and Shira Kammen, Emily O'Brien and Jacqueline Schwab will provide the music. Andrew Shaw is from England, and is a well-known reconstructor of dances.
